  • JAY BAEHR

    ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR OF ADULT MINISTRIES & WORSHIP

    Jay has been on staff since 2007 as Pastor of Youth & Contemporary Worship, and has recently assumed the position of Administrative Pastor of Adult Ministries & Worship. Jay graduated from North Park U in 1999 with a Bachelor of Biblical & Theological Studies. He received a certificate of Worship Arts from Covenant Bible College, then a Master of Special Education from Mercyhurst University. In June 2022,
    Jay was ordained at the national conference of The Covenant.  He is the husband of a secondary English teacher, Elizabeth, and father of five energetic children: Mathis, Charlotte, Asher, June, and Theodora.

  • kaitlyn holmgren

    PASTOR OF FAMILY MINISTRY

    Kaitlyn joined our staff in February of 2023 to serve in the newly-created role of 'Pastor of Family Ministry'. She grew up in Bellingham, Washington, and studied Nonprofit Leadership & Management at Arizona State University, earning a BS in 2015. Kaitlyn enjoys coaching boys and girls in a variety of sports. She is a huge fan of iced coffee, chips, snowboarding, and Jesus. And she says, “My hope for youth and families at Zion is that they believe they are beloved.”

  • JILL SPITZER

    DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

    Jill is our Director of Children's Ministries, moving into the position in September of 2022 after 11 years our Children's Ministry Assistant. She's married to Nick, who is a Phys Ed teacher at Sinclairville Elementary School. Jill has a Bachelors in Psychology from SUNY Brockport, which helped prepare her for life with FIVE daughters: Annika, Mattie, AJ, Joelle, and Alaina.

  • PAMELA CAPRINO

    ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Pam has been part of Zion's family since 1993 and on staff since 2007.  She's held many roles outside of the office over the years: as worship leader, in outreach, in women's ministry. She's an avid journaler, a pianist/songwriter, and loves nature. Her adult children - Gabe (& Aylin), Josiah (& Annie) and Clare - give her reason to travel. Prior to raising her family she was the Director of a Christian School in Cattaraugus, NY,  and has a Bachelor of English/ Elementary Education from Roberts Wesleyan College.

  • CHARLES JOHNSON

    ORGANIST

    Charles has served at Zion since August of 2015. He holds Bachelors' degrees in Music Education and Bible from Clarks Summit University and a Master's degree in Music Education from Eastern Michigan University. His musical background includes choral conducting, organ / piano performance, praise band directing, K-12 music education, and private piano teaching. He is the husband of Marci Johnson, a private voice teacher in Jamestown, and together they teach at their practice, Johnson Music Studio. They have three children: Lilly, Matthew, and Anna. He enjoys spending time with his family at Chautauqua Institution over the summer.

  • Andi smeltzer

    PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR

    Adrianne ( 'Andi' ) has been on staff since 2009, directing our growing, full day Preschool. Andi graduated from Geneva College with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education, and from Slippery Rock University with a Master's in Reading Diagnosis & Remediation. She's the mother of four incredible children - Jonathan, Mark, Cathryn, and Benjamin - and lives at home with her two dogs and cat.

  • karen loizeaux

    CHURCH SECRETARY
    Karen began her role as the Office Secretary in August 2019. She and her husband Ken have attended Zion since 2012 and she's been involved in the Wednesday Women's Bible study, the Visitation Team,  funeral lunch hosting, Zion's memorial garden, and the Prayer Team. At home she enjoys walks, cooking, gardening, reading, Hallmark movies and especially, time with Ken. Skylar Hillman joined the family in 2015 at age 16, and continues to be a part of their family when he's home visiting.
